We want to activate strong pull and push for Hong Kong in India market: Marilyn Tham, GM-MICE & Cruise, HKTB

While Hong Hong is still at 80 percent (as per 2024 numbers) of the pre-Covid numbers in terms of international tourist arrivals, India is one of the source markets which has come back strongly with arrivals surpassing the pre-pandemic levels in less than two years. This has prompted Hong Kong Tourism Board ( HKTB) to enhance engagements with the India market more aggressively than before, says Marilyn Tham, general manager - MICE, Cruise & Mega Events of the tourism board.
